Driving Economic Value: TS2023 Entrepreneurs Facilitating International Trade and Housing Solutions
By TS2023.ca on January 06, 2026
I am pleased to share my experiences as an example of someone who immigrated to Canada with a TS2023 work permit and established my own business here.
Our family company, Ceceli Demir (https://cecelidemir.com/), has been operating in the iron and steel trade and construction sector in Türkiye since 1954. As the third generation, after 10 years of experience in Türkiye, I moved to Montreal, Canada, under the TS2023 work permit. Our goal was to open a branch of our family business here.
In line with this goal, we established CCL Group Inc. in Montreal in October 2024 (https://www.cclgroup1954.com/). In December 2024, we participated in the Toronto Building Show, where we initiated important meetings with Canadian companies. Currently, we are advancing in steel construction work for certain condo projects in Toronto and Montreal, as well as supplying Canadian companies with iron and steel from Türkiye, with plans to sign several agreements in the near future.
To further contribute to Canada, we also represent some companies from Türkiye. For example, we manage sales and marketing in Canada for SRP Radyant (https://www.srpradyant.com/), a manufacturer of industrial heating systems. In this capacity, we are in discussions with HVAC distributors across different provinces in Canada. For the province of Quebec, we reached an agreement with G Mitchell (https://gmitchell.ca/), a well-established HVAC distributor, and our first products are expected to arrive in Canada in the coming months.
By focusing primarily on the construction sector, we aim to support Canada’s housing needs by providing more cost-effective materials.
I hope this information demonstrates the contribution of the TS2023 program to Canada and shows how immigrants can successfully establish themselves and create value here.
